Educational & information materials

Audience-focused visual communication shaped around what people need to understand

Information should not be designed the same way for everyone.

Educational guides, training materials, conference and scientific posters, brochures, programme communication and data-led content can serve very different people — from learners and community audiences to technical specialists and decision-makers.

The content may be different, but so should the way it is organised and presented. Clear hierarchy, thoughtful layout, easy navigation and consistent visual styles help people find their way through detailed information without having to work harder than necessary.

The aim is to make the right level of detail clear for any reader.

One example in practice

Using design to make people stop, look and engage

From evidence-heavy scientific conference posters to educational and interpretive displays, the challenge is similar: earn attention first, then make detailed information easy to explore.
